How does Renova help your skin?

RENOVA 0.02% helps to keep acne under control, lightens hyperpigmentation and smoothes textured skin. It also improves fine lines and wrinkles. Renova is primarily an acne medication, but most of our patients who use Renova do so for its anti-aging benefits. RENOVA 0.02% is a naturally occurring form of vitamin A. Treats the effects of aging on the face and skin, such as fine lines, wrinkles, or age spots.

Is a prescription required to use RENOVA 0.02%?

Yes, a prescription is required to use Renova 0.02%.

How do you use RENOVA 0.02% and how much?

You use a pea-sized amount every evening on your face, neck and décolleté. Wait at least 20 minutes after washing your face before applying RENOVA 0.02% and be careful not to get the medication too close to your nose or your mouth. If you desire a moisturizer over this product, wait at least an hour before applying that. However, with the emollients in this product, a moisturizer typically is not necessary. Any precautions? When using this or any retinoid product, you need to be sure to wear a sunscreen. RENOVA 0.02% should not be used by pregnant women or those who plan on becoming pregnant.
